Shipping Policy

For Cryogenic Processing Services

We pride ourselves to cryogenically process and return every item received at 300 Below within three business days following receipt of your components. Once our cryogenic process is initiated, your item(s) will be processed typically within a 72-hour cycle (including triple heat tempering), unless a custom profile is required in a dedicated processor chamber. Because our standard processing runs occur on Tuesday and Friday, if we receive your items by Tuesday, you can typically expect them to ship back on Friday, and vice versa, unless we receive an unusual influx of components for treatment. Once processed, your item(s) will be shipped no later than 2 business days following completion of processing. Our ability to ship is typically much faster, but we are posting our maximum expected times in case of a backlog. If any item is received on a holiday, or weekend, we will ship the next business day. From time to time we may advertise free shipping, but most orders will incur additional fees for shipping, calculated at the base UPS rate, with an additional premium of up to 15% depending on your selected delivery speed. You will be informed of a drop shipment, or additional fees PRIOR to us processing your order. You will be allowed the opportunity to cancel before we process your order.

If you are sending in items to our facility that take longer than 10 minutes to unpack and prepare for our process, please be advised you will be charged a minimum shop rate of $60 per hour in 15 minute increments to properly unpack and prepare your items. You will also be charged shop time to repack parts in special shipping containers or packaging necessary to properly ship your item(s) back to you.

PLEASE NOTE – If you have been exposed to COVID-19, please do not send in packages to our facility at this time and instead postpone your shipments until a medical provider determines you are no longer contagious.

For Cryogenic Processing Services

These details will be arranged with our office manager for each transaction. A specialized freight carrier will be selected for each unique order. For overseas transactions, we use Air Freight ONLY to ship equipment.

For Physical Product Shipments (B2B transactions only)

Once your order is received by a member of our staff, we will work to fulfill and ship your order. Depending on quantities ordered, we may choose to ship by a common carrier or by standard freight forwarding, with orders processed typically within a 72-hour cycle. We expect payment to be delivered upfront, unless a credit application is on file which may extend your payment terms to NET10 or NET30 depending on the purchasing history of the organization and ability to pay on-time with an untarnished track record. Due to high demand, physical product orders may take up to 21 days for internal fulfillment prior to shipment, though an expected delivery date may be negotiated and shall be provided during the order taking process.


We require all outbound shipments to include mandatory delivery confirmation with a signature required. Due to the majority of our outbound B2C orders being firearm components for consumers, we believe it is a reasonable requirement to ensure that these packages are not left on a doorstep where they may be stolen. If there is an issue with receiving your package because you have it shipped to a home address, please consider providing a shipping address to an FFL dealer or to your place of employment where the package may be received during daytime hours by you or an authorized representative. There are no exceptions.

PLEASE make sure you provide advance notice to our staff when sending a package so we can enter your details into our receiving software. If we cannot find your order on arrival, it involves multiple shipping, accounting and business development staff to figure out who the customer is sending in an order, and requires many man hours to create new email, phone or mailed correspondence. If firearm barrels or other defense related parts arrive without customer information in our system, our staff at 300 Below may reject the shipment in order to protect our Federal Firearms License (FFL) and/or U.S. Department of State ITAR certifications.
